We are all very proud of our 90’s generation for being the best generation for it’s classic shows, songs and anything and everything that happened in the 90’s. But, little do we care about our amazeballs 00’s shows? Because they were hella great too. Don’t believe me? Check these out yourself and fell yourself smile as you travel down nostalgia street.
1) Kasautii Zindagii Kay
The one with Ronit Roy playing Mr. Bajaj and Komolikaaaaaaaaaaa……aaa..aa.a
2) Dil Mill Gaye
Bless Dr. Armaan Malik for being that messed up character we fell in love with. I still don’t get why he called Dr. Riddhima ‘basket’ though. Also, he was a boxer when he was all angry and stuff and once molested Dr. Riddhima. But, it was a good show.
3) Jassi Jaisi Koi Nehin
The Indian version of American show Ugly Betty did steal our sympathetic hearts and then grew jealous over the fact that she turned beautiful.
4) Boogie Woogie
The actual dance reality show before dance reality shows were famous in the country.
5) Say na something to Anupam Uncle
The show where Anupam Kher tried to engage with kids who were already awkward or hyper active.
6) Chhupa Rustom
The show where Gurpal Singh would prank people on the streets. It was an NDTV venture.
7) Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai
“Yeh jo nazar aate hai, yeh woh toh hai nehin….shubapa dekho inhe gaur sey toh dikhenge yeh aur koi…” This was one family who would make you laugh as it actually intended to do so. Indravadan, Maya, Sahil, Monisha and Rosesh along with Hain hain kaka and Dushyant would make our day with their quirky antics.
8) Jeena isi ka naam hai
The show where we could peek into the scripted life of celebrities through either other celebrities or their chosen childhood friends. Oh joy!
I need Praful’s dictionary ASAP to make my mom understand my jokes. I think the kids were the only sane people on the show.
3 generations of witches? Hell yeah! On top of it Fareeda Jalal as the ‘nani’ made it more awesome.
11) Son Pari
Frooti and her crystal ball made me envious of her. Sonpari was such a cool godmother.
12) Shakalaka Boom Boom
GIVE ME A MAGIC PENCIL I WANT TO DRAW FOOD.
13) Left Right Left
Rajeev Khandelwaal’s character Rajveer and other confused cadets in an army camp.
14) Karishma Ka Karishma
The show which was the Indian adaptation of Small wonder stole our hearts with her smile and magical robotic tricks.
15) Khulja Sim Sim
Opening doors to treasures whether they are nice or not while being on national television? Sure, I have vella time left.
16) Hum Paanch
7 women 1 man. Do you NEED another reason to watch the show?
Now, go on and re watch these shows. Promise I won’t judge.
