Every year me and my friends plan a road trip and it never actually happens. So I thought I could at least take a virtual trip. We all have those dreams about having amazing road trips in beautiful landscapes. Here are a few options from India that you can plan for your next adventure!
This is every biker’s (and some non-biker’s) dream route. If you want to be called a true biker, you have to take this road trip. The Delhi to Manali route is comparatively easier, your endurance will be tested from there onwards to Leh. It is the highest motor-able road. The scenic beauty and amazing weather will all make it worthwhile!
The Ranthambor National Park is open from October to June and this is the time you need to take the road trip. Jaipur and Ranthambore are connected by a decent road and have the picturesque villages of Balsi and Lalsot on the way.
3. The Silk Route
This was the old trade route that connected Tibet and India. The winding, hilly road can be a bit of a challenge to travel through, but the stunning view of Mt. Kanchenjunga will definitely help you drive.
The East Coast Road that connect these two is one of the best roads in India to drive on. The vast expanse of sea on one side and the smooth roads are not to be missed. This is one journey that you will treasure.
The great white landscapes, the barren desert for miles and beyond, and the colorful contrasts of the local population over these backgrounds is a sight to behold. One of the lesser known destinations, grab it before all the hype begins.
Go from the buzz in Kolkata to the spiritual sanctity of Puri. The quaint green villages along the road are as delightful as the destination.
Check for bookings and weather forecasts before you embark on this adventure. To experience the best of north-east, this road trip is a must!
Let the planning for holidays commence!
