Today we are celebrating 84th Indian Air Force Day. Air Force in India was established on 8th October, 1932 and hence is celebrated as the Air Force Day in India. After we got Independence in 1947 was it known as the Indian Air Force and currently we have 1 lakh 10 thousand people recruited in Air Force.

Every year on this day there is celebration, previously at Palam air port, at Hindon near Delhi. It is attended by the Prime Minister and many other prominent officials in India.
