Students face a lot of difficulties concentrating on studies if their external factors aren’t conducive. May it be disabilities, financial hurdles or such reasons. Nayaa Bharat has picked a few who have crossed all barriers and made it through with flying colours.
1) Saloni Maurya – 97%
Saloni is the daughter of a painter who works on daily wages. The family has faced extreme financial hardships but that didn’t stop Saloni from scoring 97% in the science stream. Her school authorities waived off her fees and she has also cleared the JEE main exam and is all set to become an engineer!
2) Anandini Malhotra – 78%
Anandini has been an inspiration of many. She is a cancer survivor, and besides being dyslexic, she sailed though it all. She is indeed a winner in the true sense of the term. At the age of 2, she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and developed kyphoscoliosis- a spinal condition. She will be doing majors in Psychology with all her strong determination.
3) Shubhank Shukla- 83%
A DAV Public School student, Shubhank suffered from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) – a type of cancer. Having fought with the disease from class 6, his determination only grew. “Like an arrow- when life pushes you back, it mean it is going to launch you into something great.” he told The Times of India. Shubhank wants to become Certified Information System Auditor.
4) Rakshit Malik- 97.4%
This 90% visually impaired genius stunned all by scoring 97.4% “I never took any coaching classes. If it were my teachers who would read out my lessons for me during extra hours in school, I had my mother at home who would sit with me and ensure that I don’t have a problem”, the Humanities student told TOI.
5) Mudita Jagota- 97%
A DAV Public School student, differently-abled Mudita from Faridabad left no stone unturned in preparing for her class 12 exams. She suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, but that didn’t in anyway put her spirits down!
